Studio Policy

​

Like any form of art, learning piano, or any instrument, for that matter, requires long-term commitment. I am dedicated to working to the strengths of each student, encouraging them, and instilling in them a sense of pride in what they do, as well as the joy in music-making. I hope that music will always be a part of my students’ lives, in one form or another.
 

Payment

Fees for the month are payable before or at the first lesson of the month. Cash, cheque or e-transfer are accepted.
 

Rates, Cancellations and Rescheduling
 

Regular lessons’ rates

1 hour                    $100

45 minutes       $75

30 minutes       $50
 

The full lesson fee will be charged if written notice of rescheduling or cancellation is not received at least 24 hours in advance.
 

Rescheduling a lesson
often involve changing the schedules of other students. Please give me enough advanced notice should you need to reschedule a lesson.
 

Make-up lessons can be rescheduled at any time within the month.
 

All cancellations or rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing via text message or email.
 

Students are expected to maintain their scheduled lesson time. Changing your regular lesson time during the year might be difficult to accommodate.
 

Holidays

During holidays months – Christmas, Spring Break, Summer Break, we can be flexible in terms of scheduling.

I will also extend to you the courtesy of giving advanced notice when I go on vacation or must be absent.
